Chelsea suffered a third consecutive defeat in all competitions as we lost 1-0 at Newcastle United on Saturday.

It was a disappointing first-half performance from Chelsea as the Blues had just one shot on goal with Newcastle United the better side.

Chelsea boss Graham Potter brought on Christian Pulisic at the start of the second-half but it was Newcastle United that started the second-half better as Sean Longstaff missed two chances.

Shortly after the hour mark, Newcastle United took the lead through Joe Willock. It was a deserved lead for the hosts.

Potter responded with a triple substitution bringing on Hakim Ziyech, Marc Cucurella and Kai Havertz but Newcastle United held on.
