Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has urged Chelsea to give Graham Potter time if the Blues want to achieve success again in the Premier League.

Chelsea haven’t won the Premier League since the 2016/17 season and are currently seventh in the Premier League after successive defeats to Brighton and Arsenal.

“If Chelsea accept my humble advice, give him time, and he will do well,” Guardiola said. “He needs time, everyone needs time. No one has success from day one.

“I have a lot of admiration for his work, what he has done with Brighton is beyond exceptional. I’m pretty sure, with time, he will do a good job. I don’t have any doubts. He is one of the best managers, from my point of view, that we have in this league.”
