Borussia Dortmund defender Niklas Sule insists the German side can beat Chelsea if they play as they did against Manchester City.

Borussia Dortmund played against Manchester City in the group stage of the Champions League, losing 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium and playing a goalless draw in Germany.

Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund have been drawn in the Champions League round of 16.

“We played well in the group stage, and in both games against Manchester City we showed good tactics. With a bit of luck we could have won,” he said.

“If we show the same against Chelsea, then we can beat any team.

“Chelsea stands for offensive football, and they have many top players in the squad. We also have many good players who are experienced in the Champions League, so we want to continue.”
