Ahead of Chelsea’s Carabao Cup clash against Manchester City on Wednesday, Chelsea boss Graham Potter gave an injury update on Chelsea right-back Reece James.
James suffered a knee injury in the 2-0 win over AC Milan at the San Siro a little under a month ago with speculation surrounding his availability for the forthcoming World Cup.
“Reece was outside today (Tuesday) having a little jog, but there is nothing to report in terms of anything else,” Potter said.
“There is no timeframe [to return]. It is just how he responds. We don’t want to rush anything, and I certainly don’t want to put any timescales on it. That is for him, the doctors, and physios.”
