Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has reportedly demanded a significant pay increase to remain at Stamford Bridge.

According to Spanish media outlet Sport, the 30 year old, who currently earns around £5.5million yearly, is demanding £12million to extend his Chelsea contract.

Jorginho’s Chelsea contract expires at the end of the season and the midfielder is yet to reach an agreement with Chelsea over a new contract.

Chelsea are reportedly unwilling to meet Jorginho’s wage demands, although the Blues are open to a small increase in salary.

Spanish side Barcelona and Italian side AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Jorginho.
