Supercomputer reveals Chelsea’s Champions League last-16 opponent

The supercomputer has revealed Chelsea’s last-16 Champions League opponent ahead of the draw on Monday in Switzerland.

The eight group winners – Napoli, Porto, Bayern, Tottenham, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Man City and Benfica – will be seeded, meaning they cannot play each other.

The group winners will meet any of the eight runners-up – Liverpool, Club Brugge, Inter Milan, Eintracht Frankfurt, AC Milan, RB Leipzig, Dortmund or Paris Saint-Germain.

However, clubs cannot be drawn against another club from the same group or same country for the last-16.

According to the supercomputer by MisterChip, Chelsea will be drawn against Italian side Inter Milan in the last-16 of the Champions League.

Chelsea’s next likely opponent in the last-16 are German sides Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund.

The Supercomputer predicts Chelsea have a very low probability of facing Paris Saint-Germain or Club Brugge in the last-16 of the Champions League.
