Football pundit Gabriel Agbonlahor has said that Graham Potter’s incessant squad rotation has now come to haunt him.

Potter had been unbeaten for 9 games and tends to rotate his side for every game.

However, it backfired against Brighton, as Potter dropped key players like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Jorginho and Ben Chilwell for this game. Chelsea ended up losing 4-1 at the Amex Stadium.

According to Agbonlahor, Potter’s biggest problem is too much rotation of his players. The football pundit also criticised the signing of Marc Cucurella for £60m.

“This is what I’m saying about the problem with Graham Potter,” Agbonlahor told talkSPORT.

“When it works everyone is like ‘amazing, great rotation’ but today, why is Aubameyang not starting, why is Chilwell not starting? These players can play two games in a week.

“There’s three weeks left before the World Cup. These players can play more than Graham Potter wants to play them. Too much rotation and Cucurella looks like a bad £60m spent by Chelsea.”

Hey Gabby, it has never been amazing with Potter, Cucurella has been his biggest problem. Maybe Potter has forgotten about where he is at the moment. Chelsea isn’t Brighton. If he has no capacity to managing a big club then he should step aside. Chelsea is strictly business.. winning!! We don’t this is because our budget far outwight Brighton’s budget.. quality of players differs as well.. hence no margin for errors.
