Rising Brighton star Ed Turns, who was recently promoted from the under-21 squad to the first-team has revealed the difference between former Brighton manager Graham Potter and the newly appointed Roberto de Zerbi.

Ed Turns has said there is a different feel in training these days, as he experienced both Potter and De Zerbi’s style.

According to Turns, De Zerbi has added lots of intensity to the team’s game.

The centre-back told Sussex Live: “Intensity. The intensity is through the roof. Lots of running, pressing, lots of repetition.

“He’s made it very clear how he wants to play. He is repeating that until we get it right.”

He added: “Training has been very intense. Roberto has been very specific about what he wants and that’s good because nobody is getting confused.

“We’ve been working on patterns and the way he wants us to work in and out of possession. There’s lots of running, but there’s nothing wrong with that.”

Indeed, Potter and his men must be ready for an intense session of football.
