Barcelona signed Andreas Christensen as a free agent from Chelsea, and also signed Marcos Alonso for peanuts during the summer. The club were also linked with Chelsea skipper Cesar Azpilicueta, but Chelsea eventually blocked that deal from happening.

According to reports, Barcelona are now targeting two Chelsea players to join them as free agents at the end of the current campaign.

Barca are targeting moves for Chelsea duo N’Golo Kante and Jorginho.

Kante wants a longer deal than the two-year extension Chelsea are offering the 31-year-old. So far, Chelsea are currently unwilling to meet his demands given his poor injury record.

Jorginho is also nearing the end of his contract, and has so far rejected Chelsea’s new offer, as he wants an increase on his £110k a week deal.

According to media outlet Mundo Deportivo, Barca boss Xavi Hernandez is on the lookout for a future successor to take the place of Sergio Busquets, and sees Jorginho as a good replacement for their 34-year-old skipper.

Losing Kante and Jorginho would be a big blow to Chelsea, as Chelsea would lose two key players in the middle of the park.

However, with Chelsea to move for Declan Rice in the summer, it would serve as a big boost if Chelsea can complete this deal.
