Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag believes his side should have won the game if not for wasteful finishing from his players in the first-half.
Ten Hag has blamed Manchester United star Marcus Rashford and Antony for Manchester United’s failure to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Both players had big chances to score in the first-half but failed to convert their chances, with Kepa Arrizabalaga saving big on Rashford when placed one on one.
Manchester United dominated the first 30 minutes of the game, but Graham Potter’s first-half change turned the game around.
Ten Hag said: “First half Rashford had two big chances, Antony one against one. You have to score goals in such moments because in top games three chances is massive. You have to score.”
Ten Hag also believes Manchester United dictated the game against Chelsea.
He added: “We dictated the game and I am happy with that. If you concede a goal late it is difficult.”
