Todd Boehly and his fellow co-owners of Chelsea made a surprise decision to sack Thomas Tuchel and appointed Graham Potter to take over back in September.
Tuchel didn’t seem to have the best of relationship with Boehly, as reports had it that the pair never reached an agreement on numerous occasions.
However, Potter has said he has a good working relationship with Boehly, and that he tends to be close with the Chelsea owners.
On his relationship with Boehly, he said: “I’d say the relationship is very close with Todd and all the owners.
“We’re in contact regularly specifically with Todd, once a week I would say just for a catch-up to talk about football but it’s also about life as well and I think we share similar values.
“Different career paths obviously but a lot of similarities in terms of how we see the world, he’s been supportive really positive and I’ve enjoyed working with him.”
