Conor Gallagher lasted just 16 minutes against Brentford. The 22-year-old started the game against Brentford, but had to be subbed off early on.

It started after the ball cannoned into Gallagher’s knee while it was planted in the turf.

Gallagher was unable to continue, and ended up walking off the pitch with many suspecting that his injury was just a knock.

Speaking about the incident, Potter said Gallagher seemed to have felt ill after the incident.

He said: “I haven’t spoke to the doctors but he just felt ill.

“He thought he was going to be sick so hopefully it’s just a 24 hour thing and he will be okay.”
