Brighton star Leandro Trossard has been continually linked with a move to Chelsea.

The 27-year-old was linked with a move to Chelsea during the summer transfer window, and the rumours of Chelsea’s interest grew after Graham Potter was appointed as Chelsea manager

Asked about Chelsea’s interest in him, Trossard told Play Sports, via Sportwitness: “It’s very difficult to answer that.

“That will have to wait. I’m not on it at all right now. Brighton and the World Cup are the next goals. Afterwards we’ll see where it ends.”

Trossard has been one of Brighton’s best players, and was asked about a departure from Brighton at the start of the month.

Asked about his next club, he said earlier in October while speaking to the BBC’s Monday Night Club: “It’s difficult to say anything about that now.

“It completely depends on which club would come.

“If I feel good and things are good on a private level… but I also know how good I am at Brighton, also with new coach Roberto De Zerbi it looks promising.”
