Reece James was forced off midway through Chelsea’s 2-0 win over AC Milan in the Champions League, shaking his head as he was substituted.

During the second half of the game, James was forced to hobble off after struggling to shake off an issue that he had picked up minutes earlier.

It was a big injury scare for James who has become a key player for club and country.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Graham Potter said: “We’re hoping he’ll be ok. We’ll need 24 to 48 hours. We’ll know more after that.”

James has now revealed that there’s no cause for alarm.

Tweeting after the game, James posted: “Fingers crossed it’s not a bad one. Love for all the messages, I appreciate you all.”
