AC Milan were completely outclassed at Stamford Bridge last week Wednesday, as Chelsea got a comprehensive 3-0 victory.
Chelsea were very dominant at the Bridge, and Milan boss Stefano Pioli has warned his side to learn from their mistakes of the first leg.
He said: “If you make certain mistakes you have great opponents with great quality who take advantage of it.
“The technical level and the choices, the compactness of the team and the management of certain situations must be of a high level.”
Ahead of the first leg, Pioli had claimed that he’d try to dominate the game at Stamford Bridge. However, the Milan boss has hinted he may take a more defensive approach this time around.
Asked if Milan take a more defensive approach, Pioli said: “It could be, but it’s not sure. It depends on the assessment we made after the previous games. I have my ideas, tomorrow, we’ll show something different.”
