Chelsea have been linked with AC Milan forward Rafael Leao.
The 23-year-old pacy forward has formed a name as one of the deadliest forwards in the Italian Serie A.
Known for his pace and electric football play, Leao is being valued at around €150m.
Chelsea boss Graham Potter was asked about Chelsea’s interest in the young forward in his pre-match press conference.
He responded: “The player you mentioned is part of that team.
“You can see his quality and what he brings.
“He’s part of a strong team, a strong club and a strong set-up, and we respect that.”
Meanwhile, Leao was full of praise for Reece James after the first leg at Stamford Bridge.
“James is a good player, he was all over me and everywhere at the same time, he timed his runs very fine,” Leao said at full-time.
“I hardly talk about opposing players but this guy is actually the toughest I have faced I think. He scored a goal too against us and that’s something you don’t get from every defender.”
