Chelsea centre-back Thiago Silva spent three years at AC Milan before moving to Paris Saint-Germain.
The 38-year-old won the Serie A title with Milan in 2011, and is now set for a first return to the San Siro.
Thiago Silva has revealed that it would be an emotional moment for him and his wife.
He said: “I’m very happy and excited to be here again 11 years since my last time and of course all the nice experiences I’ve had here come back to my mind. So of course I’m very excited and tomorrow night I will be even more excited and moved.
“I can tell you that I will have to be mentally strong and focused on the game because of course there’s going to be great emotion.
“My wife was very moved when we played against AC Milan in London so for sure tomorrow night my wife will cry from the emotions, but I hope that in the end we will be able to laugh together after a good win, that is the most important thing.”
