Chelsea moved to second in Group E of the Champions League after beating AC Milan 3-0.

It has been a difficult season for Chelsea so far, and the Blues have found it difficult to win games.

Ex-Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf has been critical of Chelsea’s playing style especially under former boss Thomas Tuchel, claiming that the football has been boring.

However, Leboeuf admitted that he saw some improvement in the game against AC Milan.

“Last week I was bored [with Chelsea], the week before I was really bored, and the week before [that] I was still [bored],” Leboeuf told ESPN.

“The only game I have enjoyed from Chelsea since the beginning of the season was against Spurs in August.

“I have to enjoy that win [against AC Milan], because for the first time I saw something.

“Mason Mount getting back to his best, Reece James scoring a fantastic goal on top of performing very well and Thiago Silva was very good.

“At the end of the day, when you win 3-0 in the Champions League – OK yes, Milan had some mini injuries – but with the job done you have to enjoy it.

“It’s a little bit unfair to say it was flat. It’s not perfect, it’s far from perfect. But I finally saw something a little more enjoyable.

“It’s enough for me to be happy until the return game next week.”
