Chelsea right-back Reece James has been hailed by his team-mates as the best right-back/right wing-back in the world.

Reece James has been receiving plaudits following his top performance against AC Milan at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

“I’ve said it from day one. Right now, he could be the best in the world [in his position],” Trevoh Chalobah said about Reece James.

“Yes, we are lucky to have him. He is an unbelievable player who can do all sides of the game.

“He can defend, get us goals and get us assists. It is a pleasure to play with him.”

Veteran defender Thiago Silva who has played with so many great players during his illustrious career also said a similar thing about Reece James.

In fact, Silva claimed that Reece James can go on to be one of the best in history.

“He’s a very young athlete but looks like he’s been playing football for so many years,” Silva told Hayters.

“It’s easy to talk about him because he is someone I really like.

“I hope he can continue with this winning mentality because he is a guy who works really hard and deserves all this success. He is one of the strengths of our team, both offensively and defensively.

“I hope he can continue like this, because is he keeps this winning mentality he has everything to be one of the best in history.”
