Thomas Tuchel was sacked on September 7 in the aftermath of Chelsea’s Champions League defeat to Dinamo Zagreb.
According to reports, Chelsea is wanted by Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.
Thomas Tuchel has however turned down the chance to take charge of Bayer Leverkusen.
Leverkusen who are managed by Gerardo Seoane have endured a miserable start to the season. The club who currently have Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi are in the relegation zone having taken just five points from eight games so far.
Tuchel previously coached Mainz and Borussia Dortmund, but isn’t interested in a job with Leverkusen.
Tuchel was in charge of Chelsea for 100 games, of which he won 60, drew 24 and lost 16.
According to a report by The Telegraph, Tuchel feels he still has unfinished business in the Premier League as he could not win the competition with Chelsea during his time at the club.
Meanwhile, Tuchel might be required to leave the UK soon as he arrived on a post-Brexit Governing Body Endorsement visa that gives him a 90-day period during which he can stay after his sacking.
“We will act in accordance with UK rules and adapt all future plans. Final decisions are not made yet,” Tuchel’s representative told The Telegraph last month.
