Multiple reports have claimed Chelsea are close to sealing a transfer for RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku.

Fabrizio Romano had claimed that the 24-year-old had already done a secret medical with Chelsea.

The Athletic’s David Ornstein has now claimed that the Frenchman has already signed a pre-contract agreement with the Blues, with the agreement between the clubs also ‘pretty much done and dusted’.

Reports also claim that Chelsea may need to pay slightly more than the ₤52.5 release clause for the Frenchman to ensure he’ll join the club next summer.
