Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish was very unhappy with the officiating by Chris Kavanagh as Chelsea came from behind to beat Palace 2-1.
Parish believes Jorginho could easily have seen red if the referee punished many of his fouls.
The Palace chairman was unhappy with the amount of fouls Jorginho committed in the game before he was eventually subbed off.
He posted on Twitter: “Jorginho literally broke the world record of amount of fouls committed before getting a yellow.”
Parish also took aim at VAR after Thiago Silva wasn’t given a red card.
“Honestly what is the point of #var we chop and change every week what it does what it thinks,” Parish added.
Palace boss Patrick Vieira was particularly very unhappy with the decision made by the referee and VAR.
Vieira said: “Thiago, it’s something I don’t want to talk about. It’s difficult for me to understand it, to accept it, so it’s better sometimes to be quiet and not talk about it.
“I believe the referee got it wrong and if I say what I think, I will be in trouble. So I’d rather not talk about.
“I don’t want to talk about it because I don’t understand that decision and I don’t want to talk about it.
“There is a referee, there is a VAR and they are making decisions and we just move on.”
