Chelsea right-back Reece James has been somewhat unlucky at the prestigious Wembley Stadium.

Reece James has suffered FA Cup final defeats against Leicester City and Liverpool, as well as Carabao Cup final defeat to Liverpool.

The 22-year-old was part of the England squad that lost the Euro 2022 tournament to Italy in Wembley.

Amid talk of a so-called Wembley curse, James has insisted that those defeats must be corrected this season.

“The last few years have been good, but we’ve been to finals where we’ve lost as well,” he said.

“We want to win every competition we enter, and if we get to the final, there’s no reason why we shouldn’t be going all the way.

“There have been a few where we’ve got there, but there have also been a few domestic trophies that we haven’t picked up, which needs to change.”
