Reece James was one of Chelsea’s best players last season, and the 22-year-old put in a solid performance in every game he featured.
Chelsea’s title collapse last season happened after James suffered an injury in December.
James who plays more as a right wing-back for Chelsea, was injured 4 times last season and missed a total of 19 games. Despite being absent for a long period, James still managed to get an impressive 11 assists and 6 goals.
James has now revealed that his biggest regret from last season was being out injured for long.
“I think last season I did well with my performances,” he told the club website.
“My stats, goals and assists, clean sheets were all the best they’ve been – but I was injured for maybe three or four months and that was too long.”
“So, I think if I stay on the pitch I will surpass what I did last season.”
Keep up the good work 👍👍
