According to reports from Italy, Roma boss Jose Mourinho is targeting a move for Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah in the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old was linked with a move away from the club during the summer transfer window, but Chelsea blocked the move due to shortage of players in that area.
Chalobah has struggled for game time this season, as he has only made one appearance this term in a 2-1 win over Leicester City.
It’s yet to be seen if the young defender fits into Graham Potter’s plans.
Roma are said to be monitoring his situation between now and the World Cup in Qatar.
According to reports, Jose Mourinho’s side could make a swoop if Chalobah does not get regular playing time between now and November.
Meanwhile, Chalobah is said to be excited about a possible link up with the legendary Jose Mourinho, who has also improved Tammy Abraham.
