Denis Zakaria signed up for Chelsea from Juventus on transfer deadline day.

The 25-year-old midfielder believes he has what it takes it make it for Chelsea and in the Premier League.

According to Zakaria, Juventus played defensively a lot, and he’s a more attacking midfielder who loves to drive forward with the ball.

He said: “I believe I will be happier in England than in Turin. Maybe Juventus’ playing style wasn’t for me, the team sat back a lot and didn’t have much space.

“I am a player who needs a lot of space for my runs. Maybe this will suit me better in England.”

Zakaria also revealed that Liverpool as well made a late swoop for his signing on transfer deadline day.

He stated: “I heard [about Liverpool’s interest] from my agent, but in the end it was Chelsea.”
