Man City interested in signing €150million Chelsea transfer target

AC Milan forward Rafael Leao is a player on the radars of the majority of Europe’s top clubs. Plenty of them were reportedly weighing up a move for the 23-year-old during the summer but he stayed with Serie A champions AC Milan.

According to Manchester Evening News, Manchester City are big admirers of the AC Milan forward and could look to add him to the squad next year.

Leao is a transfer target for Chelsea and the Blues had a bid for the 23 year old rejected by AC Milan last summer.

Leao has a €150million release clause in his AC Milan contract and has two-and-a-half years left on his AC Milan contract.

The winger is attracting interest after scoring three times and providing six assists in eight games following his 14-goal haul that led his side to the Serie A title last season.

Rafael Leao was on top of Paris Saint-Germain’s list to replace Kylian Mbappe who seemed destined to join Real Madrid.

Leao currently earns 1.6 million per season and AC Milan have offered him a new contract until 2026 at around €4.5 million per season. There is still no agreement between the parties with his agent Jorge Mendes pushing for improved terms.
