Chelsea will battle with Premier League rivals Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur for the transfer of Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar in January, according to The Sun
Skriniar has less than a year left on his Inter Milan contract and the Italian side could seek to sell him in January if they are unable to extend his contract.
The representatives of Skriniar are set to meet with the Inter hierarchy before the end of October to discuss a new deal.
Despite signing Manuel Akanji during the summer transfer window, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly interested in signing the Inter Milan centre-back.
Chelsea are also reportedly still interested in signing the Inter Milan defender despite signing Wesley Fofana from Leicester City and Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli during the summer transfer window.
Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte worked with Skriniar during his time as Inter Milan boss and is keen on reuniting with the centre-back at Tottenham Hotspur.
