Chelsea Women’s star Fran Kirby has revealed Todd Boehly’s furious reaction to seeing the female team’s training facilities.

According to Kirby, the women’s facility is below standard, and nothing much had been done about it despite their complains.

Kirkby has now revealed Todd Boehly’s furious reaction to see the state of the facility.

“We got invited to the game at Stamford Bridge the other day and sat with Todd and met people on the board, and they just seemed super, super positive about women’s football and women’s sport in general,” Fran Kirby told The Times.

“They came down to the facilities and said this is not acceptable for a club like Chelsea. We have always got on with it.

“We’ve had a moan here and there when we’ve had to come up here at 7am to use the pool — I’m not a morning person! — but we’ve got stuff done, won some trophies.”

Nevertheless, the Chelsea women have been very dominant in the Women Super League and are the current champions.
