Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang signed up for Chelsea on transfer deadline day, and the 33-year-old has started two games in a row for the club.
Aubameyang had a good relationship with former boss Thomas Tuchel, who motivated his coming to Stamford Bridge.
However, shortly after signing for Chelsea, Tuchel was sacked by the new Chelsea owners.
Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has revealed that Aubameyang was shocked by the decision and felt very sad.
“The truth is that the first days he arrived a little scared,” Arrizabalaga told The Sun.
“He was a little in shock, a lot of change, the last two or three days were very crazy for him, everything that happened to him was a misfortune.”
Aubameyang recently revealed that it was a sad situation to see Tuchel leave the club.
“Everyone knows the relationship that I have with Thomas,” said Aubameyang.
“It’s obviously sad when someone leaves the club and obviously, I only saw him for a few days. But this is football and when you play football you have to adapt quickly and in some moments in the season, this can happen.
“I think he [Tuchel] was a bit frustrated and sad. Obviously, I will try to talk to him as soon as possible.”
