Thomas Tuchel was sacked from his job as Chelsea manager after the 1-0 defeat to Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb last week.
Tuchel was sacked the following day after the defeat, with Graham Potter chosen as his successor.
Chelsea fans chose to honour Thomas Tuchel in the 21st minute of the Champions League game against RB Salzburg.
The 21st minute was chosen as the most suitable moment due to the Champions League trophy he won with the club last year – 2021.
Arno Michels, one of Thomas Tuchel’s assistants at Chelsea, was humbled by the gesture from Chelsea fans and posted a message for the fans after the Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Salzburg in the UEFA Champions League.
Michels posted a message on his Instagram story, writing: “Thanks to all the supporters for this emotional moment.”
