New Chelsea boss Graham Potter was unable to secure a win in his first game in charge of Chelsea, as the Blues were held to a 1-1 draw with RB Salzburg.
After a goalless first-half, Raheem Sterling opened the scoring immediately after the restart.
Unfortunately, Sterling’s goals didn’t end up as the winning goal, as Noah Okafor equalised for the visitors in the 75th minute.
Graham Potter subbed off Raheem Sterling late in the game, and the former Manchester City star was unhappy to leave the pitch.
Arsenal legend Thierry claimed that new Blues boss Graham Potter has an extra unhappy player in the Chelsea dressing room following his decision to sub off Raheem Sterling.
“We all noticed and we were like, ‘it’s early’ and everything,” Henry told CBS Sports about Potter’s decision to substitute Sterling.
“First and foremost I don’t know why he took Sterling off because he scored and you know he could score another goal.
“It’ll be interesting to see how he’s going to deal with that tomorrow morning because he [Sterling] didn’t look happy.
“Maybe we’re going a bit too much into it, but when they showed him on the bench, I think I wouldn’t have liked to come out after [scoring] a goal, let’s see how he’s going to deal with that one.”
