Graham Potter nearly got off to a winning start as Chelsea manager, but a 75th minute equaliser from Noah Okafor cancelled out Raheem Sterling’s goal.
Despite bossing the game and creating the most chances, Graham Potter could only see his Chelsea side get a point from the Austrian champions.
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher said after the game that he was unconvinced by the system used by the new Chelsea manager.
Asked if he felt Potter’s formation worked with Chelsea, Carragher said: “Not particularly.
“They didn’t win the game, they didn’t create an awful lot of chances, but that’s the way Brighton set up with Graham Potter.
“Any manager who comes in is going to put his own stamp on it, his own system.”
