Chelsea boss Graham Potter has revealed that Chelsea duo N’Golo Kante and Edouard Mendy will miss the game against RB Salzburg.

Chelsea would face Salzburg in our second Champions League group game, and Chelsea are expected to be without Kante and Mendy through injury.

Both Mendy and Kante missed Chelsea training on Tuesday, and new boss Graham Potter has said they won’t be available for the Salzburg tie.

Potter said: “Edouard will miss the game, and so will NG.

“Both of those guys are progressing well but this game is coming too soon for them.

“With Mendy, it’s a knee problem. It’s responded well to treatment and it doesn’t look like it will be too long [before he’s back] but at the moment he’s not available.”
