Chelsea appointed Graham Potter as the new Chelsea manager last Thursday, and the Blues are also set to appoint a sporting director soon.

According to reports, Chelsea are interested in hiring Luís Campos as the club’s new sporting director.

Campos is currently working as PSG’s football advisor after joining the French club in June.

Todd Boehly has been working as Chelsea’s sporting director but is keen on vacating the role soon for a more experienced hand.

Boehly has reportedly spoken with Campos who made his name working at both Monaco and Lille.

Campos formed a reputation as a top director where he helped Monaco and Lille to build title winning squads.

Monaco and Lille would also make huge profits on players that they had signed for minimal fees. The likes of Sven Botman, Fabinho, Rafael Leão and Kylian Mbappé were all involved in huge deals.

Campos is Todd Boehly’s first choice for role of sporting director, and the new owners would like to seal this deal for Campos in no time.
