Graham Potter was appointed as Chelsea manager on Thursday, and he held his first training session with the players on Friday.
According to reports, Potter has held some one-on-one meetings with several senior players at Chelsea.
CBS’ Ben Jacobs reports that Potter has met with some of the leaders in the Chelsea dressing room.
Potter was said to have stressed the importance of the dressing room unity and leadership.
Potter also assured that he’ll keep the open-door policy and would try to understand the club culture as soon as possible.
Following the manner in which Thomas Tuchel left the club, Potter understands he needs the support of the dressing room in order to succeed at his job.
