Chelsea announced the dismissal of Thomas Tuchel as the club’s manager on Wednesday morning.
The club is working towards appointing Graham Potter to take over from the Champions League winning coach.
According to reports, Brighton manager Graham Potter is the frontrunner to take over from Tuchel.
Reports however claims that Potter would want to bring his team of experts to Stamford Bridge.
Potter has formed a reputation for making shrewd signings for the Seagulls, while also building a formidable team that plays attractive football.
Graham Potter reportedly wants to bring Brighton’s recruitment guru Kyle Macaulay with him to Chelsea, should he be appointed as the new Chelsea manager.
Tuchel’s coaching staff Arno Michels and Zsolt Low have both left with Tuchel on Wednesday, and Potter also wants to bring both of his Brighton assistants, Billy Reid and Bjorn Hamberg, with him to Chelsea.
Potter is said to have had talks with Todd Boehly about the Chelsea job, and has stated what he needs in order to succeed.
Chelsea are going to appoint a new technical director this year, and Potter would want his top recruiter Kyle Macaulay to work with the sporting director over his recruitment policy.
