Kalidou Koulibaly seemed to have started his Chelsea career on a fine note, with a massive goal against Tottenham.
However, Koulibaly seems to be struggling since the game against Tottenham.
The 31-year-old joined Chelsea after 8 years with Napoli, and he was signed as the replacement for the departed Antonio Rudiger.
Koulibaly was sent off in the game against Leeds United, and he had a poor game at Elland Road. He has failed to impress massively since serving his suspension.
Italian veteran manager Fabio Capello has now revealed Koulibaly is still trying to adapt to the speed of the Premier League.
“I would like to talk about the difficulties of Koulibaly at Chelsea,” Capello told Sky Calcio Club.
“In Naples, he was doing everything by himself. His problems now depend on the speed with which they play in England.
“It’s the same pace used by Udinese to give Roma fits. It’s something that must make us Italians reflect.”
