Chelsea had to come from behind to beat West Ham 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues had gone down in the 62nd minute, but goals from substitutes Ben Chilwell and Kai Havertz sealed the victory for Chelsea.
West Ham had a goal ruled out in the 90th minute.
Maxwel Cornet thought he had scored a late goal only for VAR to overturn the goal as Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy was adjudged to have been fouled by Jarrod Bowen.
Speaking after the game, referee David Moyes slammed the decision made by referee Andrew Madley and VAR.
“You have seen it, it is a scandalous decision, absolutely rotten from one of the supposedly elite referees,” Moyes said after the match.
“It doesn’t say much about whoever sent him over from VAR as well. It is an unbelievable decision against us.
“I support a lot of the VAR stuff, I actually think the goalkeeper dives, he is faking an injury because he cannot get to the next one.
“He did the same on the first goal as well. The referee somehow gets that so wrong it is incredible.”
