Chelsea and Leicester City reached an agreement to sign Wesley Fofana for a massive £70m fee.
The 21-year-old joined Chelsea this week for £70m, after the Blues had seen three previous bids rejected for his transfer.
The Foxes now want to use part of the money to sign former Blue Jeremie Boga.
According to The Athletic, the former Chelsea winger Boga has emerged as a target and talks are ongoing between the Premier League and Serie A sides.
Boga, now 25, is a product of the Chelsea academy, and was a Chelsea player from 2009-18.
Boga however never made the cut despite being highly rated.
The Ivorian international only made one league appearance for the Blues, spending time on loan at Rennes, Granada and Birmingham before sealing a move to Sassuolo in 2018 and joined Atalanta earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Leicester City fans have been bashing Fofana on social media for leaving the club in the manner he did.
