With Chelsea currently in a midfield crisis, Chelsea have gone on to sign Denis Zakaria from Juventus.

The Swiss man only joined Juventus in January from Borussia Monchengladbach for £4m, but has now made the switch to Chelsea.

Chelsea made deadline day moves to sign Edson Alvarez or Ibrahim Sangare, but none of those deals worked.

Confirmed reports have it that Chelsea have sealed a deal for the 25-year-old Swiss international.

The deal is a loan deal with an option to buy of £30m, and a potential five year contract.

The Swiss international stand at 6ft 3ins, and had been recommended by former Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick to the Old Trafford club.
