Former Chelsea star Willian, is set to seal a sensational return to the Premier League, just one year after returning to Brazil following a poor stint with Arsenal.

Exactly a year ago today, Arsenal terminated Willian‘s contract and now, the Brazilian is one step away from joining another side, London Fulham on a free transfer.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that a medical for the Brazilian has been scheduled for today.

He wrote: “Medical scheduled today for Willian in order to become new Fulham player on free transfer after contract terminated with Corinthians.

“Willian wanted to go back to the Premier League and it’s now really close.”

The 34-year-old has been training with the Premier League new-boys as the former Chelsea star prioritised a return to England this summer.

Willian will have an opportunity to face Chelsea when Fulham host Chelsea at Craven Cottage on September 10th.

The Brazilian will make a return to Stamford Bridge on February 4.
