Chelsea are keen on signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with the Blues intent on signing a new striker.

A meeting was slated between representatives of Chelsea and Barcelona for Tuesday.

Reliable Spanish transfer expert Gerard Romero has said that a transfer may happen after a long period of negotiation.

According to Romero’s report, Chelsea are set to pay €23m plus add-ons for the Gabonese striker. It’s a fee that Barca are about to accept in the coming hours, his reports add.

Romero claims that the transfer could happen quickly after personal terms have already been agreed with the player.

Aubameyang is expected to fly to London this week for medical and to sign a contract.

According to Goal, Chelsea have agreed terms with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and must now meet Barcelona’s €25 million.

Goal claims that Barcelona will use the funds from the transfer to sign up Marcos Alonso.
