Mendy: Had a hand in Rome Lavia’s strike, but it wasn’t strong enough to pull a save. Wasn’t well protected by his defence. 5/10
Azpilicueta: Had a poor game defensively. Conceded the corner that led to Lavia’s goal, and his poor clearance landed in front of Lavia. 3/10
Thiago Silva: Calm and composed defending, including a goal line clearance that could have worsened th3 scoreline. 6/10
Koulibaly: Average performance. His passing out from the back was quite poor at times. 5/10
Cucurella: Seemed to lack quality sometimes in attack. But decent game nevertheless. 6/10
Jorginho: Couldn’t dominate the game in the middle of the park. 5/10
Loftus-Cheek: Quiet game. Subbed off at half-time. 5/10
Ziyech: Started the game brightly, including one fine cross field pass. Struggled afterwards until the end of the game. 5/10
Sterling: Chelsea’s best player and scored the only goal of the game for Chelsea. Wasn’t on the same wavelength with our forward players. 6.5/10
Mount: Played poorly and lacked fluidity. However, provided the assists for Raheem Sterling’s goal. 5/10
Kai Havertz: Another poor game upfront. 4/10
