Reports over the weekend confirmed that Chelsea have reached an agreement with Leicester City for the signing of Wesley Fofana.
The Leicester City man has been pushing to move to Chelsea, and he now has his wishes.
Leicester City legend Gary Linker has wished the defender well after reports of the deal came out: “Gutted to lose him but wish Wesley Fofana well. Every player wants to play Champions League football so it’s understandable.
“Chelsea fans, you’ve got the most prodigiously talented young central defender in the world. Yes, I believe he’s that good.”
Fofana in turn replied by thanking him with emojis, to confirm the news.
Reports from French newspaper L’Equipe, have claimed that Fofana will undergo his Chelsea medical on Sunday ahead of completing his move to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have reportedly agreed a ₤75m deal for the French centre-back who will sign a six-year deal with Chelsea.
