Liverpool legend Steve McManaman has given his predictions for this season’s Champions League following the recently concluded draws.
The Liverpool hero expects all the English sides to do well, but he is tipping PSG to be champions this time and is also wary of Bayern Munich.
He told BT Sport: “I think all of the English teams have an excellent chance. When you look across the whole of Europe, and you analyse some of the other opposition, have Liverpool, have Manchester City, have Chelsea and have Tottenham improved from last year.
“When you look at PSG they have improved a lot, I think Bayern Munich have improved a lot with their signings, bringing in Sadio Mane and Matthijs De Ligt, they have improved a lot and they were close to getting to the semi-final.
“I think it will be very close and I think PSG could have a really good chance this year. With a new manager, they are going under the radar, they have invested well, they have a better balance and I think you have to look at them as well.”
