Chelsea have finally reached an agreement with Leicester City to sign Wesley Fofana.

Chelsea had seen three bids rejected for the 21-year-old, but the fourth one has eventually sealed the deal.

Leicester City legend Gary Lineker has said he’s gutted that Fofana is leaving Leicester City.

Lineker also sent a message to Chelsea fans, as he told the Blues faithful that they are signing one of the most talented centre-backs in the world.

Lineker said: “Gutted to lose him but wish Wesley Fofanaa well. Every player wants to play Champions League football so it’s understandable.

“Chelsea fans, you’ve got the most prodigiously talented young central defender in the world. Yes, I believe he’s that good.”
