According to reports, Chelsea are set to trigger the £12.6m release clause of Dynamo Moscow midfielder Arsen Zakharyan.
Todd Boehly is helping Thomas Tuchel to build a Chelsea team for the present and the near future, and Chelsea have already signed a number of promising talents between age 18 and 21.
Chelsea have already signed the likes of promising goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina, Carney Chukwuemeka, Omari Hutchinson and Cesare Casadei.
19-year-old Zakharyan is regarded as one of Russia’s brightest young prospects, and has been a revelation since making his debut for Dynamo Moscow in November 2020.
The young midfielder won the club’s Player of the Year award for two seasons in a row, and last season, he scored nine goals and registered nine assists in 34 appearances for Dynamo Moscow.
Reports emanating from Russia claims that Chelsea are set to trigger the young midfielder’s release clause.
Zakharyan’s agent, Pavel Andreev, has confirmed to Russia’s RB Sport that Chelsea’s approach is genuine.
Zakharyan plays from the left flank and can play in central midfield. He has already been capped four times by Russia’s national side.
Zakharyan still has two years left on his current contract with Dynamo Moscow.
