Chelsea have been linked with a move for Everton star Anthony Gordon.
The Blues have already seen a bid of £40m rejected by the Toffees for their academy product.
Reports claim Chelsea have come back with an offer that could be worth up to £60m for the 21-year-old.
Speaking to the media in his latest press conference, Everton manager Frank Lampard has claimed that Chelsea have not submitted a £60 million bid for Gordon as recent reports had suggested.
Lampard said: “I’ve been fortunate enough to work with fantastic young players… seeing them develop, see them now become England internationals, #UCL winners, worth maybe triple figures in terms of some of their personal values and Anthony is in that bracket.
“They [Chelsea] haven’t bid £60M. Let’s not talk about a number because it’s not there. No [I can’t put a value on his importance to the club].
“No, it hasn’t come in. He remains our player. He’s in the squad for tomorrow. He’s a huge player for us, not only a big value for the club if you want to talk financially, but more importantly to the squad.”
