Chelsea have seen three bids rejected for Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana.
The Blues have made the signing of Fofana a priority, and reports now claim that Chelsea are set to place a fourth bid, despite having seen a £70m bid for the 21-year-old.
Chelsea are preparing a new bid for Leicester centre-back Wesley Fofana, The Telegraph reports.
Fabrizio Romano has also confirmed this latest information.
According to the transfer expert, the new offer will be worth around ₤75million, although the structure of add-ons is yet to be set.
Romano wrote on twitter: “Chelsea are preparing new proposal for Wesley Fofana. It will be around £75m, still deciding the add-ons structure. Deal still on through intermediaries.
“Leicester, waiting to receive the new bid to decide – as Fofana only wants Chelsea.”
Meanwhile, Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has slammed Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana who’s trying to force a move to Chelsea.
According to Rodgers, Fofana isn’t acting professionally. Rodgers has also ruled out Fofana from facing Chelsea this weekend.
Are you kidding me, Fofana £75m? This is freaking crazy. We need our Football business team back. The Iron lady and Petr Cech.. this is not making sense to. That guy isn’t better than Chalobah.. you gotta be kidding me.
